Our Teachers

Meet Miss Susannah
How long have you been teaching physie?
I’ve been involved in physie for 25 years and have taught all age groups from preschool
through to ladies over the last 7 years. Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
What age group do you love teaching most?
I can't answer this one with just one age group, but I would have to say I love watching the
youngest girls when their faces light up with pure joy, and at the opposite end
I love strength, determination and resilience our ladies show.
Why did you become a physie teacher?
Because I know what it feels like to gain confidence through movement.
I wanted to create a space where girls feel strong, capable and seen. I've achieved many
highs myself and I want to give bak to the sport that has given me soo much!
What do you hope every student feels when they walk into class?
Safe. Encouraged. Proud of themselves.
No girl should ever feel “less than” in my class.
What does success mean to you?
Not just trophies — but posture, belief, teamwork, and girls who
walk taller outside of physie too.
How would you describe your teaching style?
High standards, high encouragement.
Structured, supportive, and full of sparkle ✨
Fun facts 💖
Coffee order: Regular Skim Caramel Latte
Song on repeat: Our Ladies advanced "Worthy"
Competition day ritual: Remember to eat! Even when I don't feel like it. Those nerves are sneaky!
But I get my hair and makeup done as early as possible, make a last minute outfit decision and a decent warm up and stretch.
I love my good luck hugs from my girls right before going to marshalling and a quick smile to my loved ones before marching out.
Teaching motto:“Strong girls lift each other higher."
